Our initial focus is on the bathrooms, followed by the kitchen. These rooms require more extensive internal work due to their intricate plumbing systems, unlike the relatively simpler tasks involved in revamping the bedrooms and dining area. In order to gather ideas and suggestions, I have been researching bathroom designers online. Although I consider myself a competent designer, I recognise the benefits of seeking input from multiple sources. A qualified designer brings expertise and experience specifically in bathroom design, areas where my own skills are limited. My previous design projects primarily centred around living spaces and bedrooms, with little experience in bathroom fittings. Additionally, I have no knowledge of tasks such as tiling and grouting, which further highlights the usefulness of a designer’s assistance.

In addition to finding a designer, I have been exploring the top bathroom renovations in the Melbourne area. This vibrant city is known for its exceptional design work, partly inspired by the popularity of renovation shows filmed here. Melbourne’s trendiness is evident in the construction of modern houses and the revitalisation of older homes to cater to a younger demographic. The prospect of renovating our house fills me with excitement as we strive to create a space we truly love—a place where we can proudly host our friends and family, showcasing our unique interior design.

While the current state of our newly acquired house may not be ideal, it offers us a canvas on which to express our creativity and passion for design. With the guidance of a talented designer and the inspiration drawn from Melbourne’s thriving renovation scene, we eagerly anticipate transforming this house into a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing home.
